When Craig and Serena asked about a January engagement shoot, I'll admit that I was a bit sceptical—winter weather is quite fickle here in Michigan and I wasn't sure if we could get the photos we wanted under the weather conditions. Of course, the day we had scheduled turned out to be a sunny and bright day! Even better, it turns out that Craig and Serena are both PhDs in applied math and psychology, respectively, so we had a grand time chatting between takes. Winter sunshine can be tricky due to its harshness, but we did just fine and their photos turned out beautifully.
